David married Mary at Bethel Hall Chapel, High Street Pontypool on July 18th 1959.

Mary was late to the chapel because her father's car broke down. A taxi got her there half an hour late. David told his brother Don he was going home as Mary obviously wasn't coming! Don kept him there!

It was a lovely sunny day except as the couple exited the chapel at started to rain. Fortunately the shower didn't last.

The reception was held in the school room of Trosnant Baptist Chapel.
